The Portrait Cafe offers a delicious array of freshly baked cakes, muffins & small sweets to tempt & a fresh seasonal lunch menu to recharge after an enriching morning of viewing the galleries. The menu ranges from a simple selection of sandwiches & toasties, pies & quiches through to salads made to order and the daily changing specials. The cafe is fully licensed with a small select menu which includes a stunning selection of local and interstate wines.

Orders are placed and paid for at the counter & then delivered to you at the table. Sit inside overlooking the Portrait Store, sipping your coffee while contemplating your next purchase or outside on the terrace enjoying the serenity of Reconciliation place & the stunning Lake Burley Griffin.

Visitors to the cafe are welcomed on a first come first served basis & we currently do not accept reservations.  Last orders at the cafe are taken at 4.30pm.
